Detailed Description
‘Summer Breeze’ is a compact, free flowing perennial which has upright stems that rise from a neat, clump-forming base of mid-green to bronzed, lance-shaped foliage. It works well at the front of a sunny border.
Throughout summer and into early autumn, clusters of funnel-shaped blooms open in warm golden-yellow tones, each petal flushed with peach and orange and marked with dark speckles and splashes towards the throat. The contrast between the glowing flowers and the darker foliage gives the whole plant an exotic feel without being difficult to grow.
It thrives in well-drained soil and in a sunny spot in the garden.
