This time of year we are busy planning the 2018 season. 2018 is a very significant year for us as it marks the 50th year since the business started. David Honeysett rented a small field in Burwash in 1968 (also the year he got married!) and started growing lettuces and flowers to supply to local outlets.

Much has changed in the last 50 years and we’re delighted that as we celebrate this major milestone we have several exciting projects in the pipeline for 2018, including the biggest redevelopment of the plant centre since it opened in 2003.

Ahead of all that, Christmas is fast approaching and we’re delighted again to be stocking our cut Christmas trees from a local estate in Kent again this year. The quality and freshness is unparalleled in our experience and so we look forward to receiving these in the last week of November.

We’re also making over 300 wreaths by hand this year which are growing in popularity and look great, be sure to drop in and have a look.

Thankyou for taking an interest in our business in 2017, whether you visit our plant centre, our markets or are one of our wholesale customers, we value your business and we’re looking forward to executing our exciting plans over the next few months in order that we might be able serve you even better in 2018!
