The month of May is a popular one for gardeners, and as summer gets nearer it’s a busy time at Cade Street Nursery…
And with the RHS Chelsea Flower Show taking place at the end of the month, we thought this would be the perfect time to run a fun competition for the local area!
How to enter
We want YOU to send us your best pictures of your gardening efforts so far this year.
Whether it’s a lovely hanging basket, a well-groomed garden bed, or a young budding gardener tending to a burgeoning vegetable patch – we want to see how much Heathfield and the rest of East Sussex is blooming and how much fun you’re having while doing it!
All you have to do to enter is like the Cade Street Nursery Facebook page and post your pictures to us there as a visitor post with the hashtag #CadeStreetComp.
Multiple entries will be accepted (just in case you’ve lots to show off!), but each entrant is only eligible for one prize.
Prizes
The important bit – here’s what’s up for grabs…
1st prize – a £50 voucher for Cade Street Nursery!
That’s right! Come and have a shopping spree at our plant centre, and we will cover the costs up to £50!
With over 250,000 plants grown right here every year, there’s plenty to choose from.

Runner-up prizes – a David Austin Rose
Five runners-up will be the lucky recipients of one David Austin Rose – a new addition to the plant centre this year and one that’s proving very popular indeed!
The closing date for entries is Saturday 03 June. We will then put all entries onto a dedicated album on Facebook and ask you all to vote on your favourite – with the one with the most likes overall getting the top prize.
The five runner-ups to receive the David Austin Roses will then be chosen by the expert team at Cade Street Nursery!
